3648707 - Screen Reader navigation issue is not possible due to screen region setup in Story Creation & Story Reports - SAP Analytics Cloud & SAP SuccessFactors People Analytics

Symptom

  • In pre-delivered SAP Analytics Cloud and People Analytics Story Reports like the for example the Talent Intelligence Hub Story Report there is currently a limitation when it comes to usage of screen reader tools. ( JAWS Screen Reader).
  • The main HTML region document is not being recognised by the screen reader tool and also there are no other relevant regions declared in the story report.
  • There is also no option to create a new document regions for custom Stories as well making it difficult to meet accessibility standards as declared in (Web Accessibility Initiative)
