3648726 - AIF - Can not edit field in Message Monitoring or Message Dashboard

Symptom

The 'Edit' button is disabled in Fiori app Message Monitoring

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Assign recipient to User 
  2. Run Fiori app Message Monitoring or Message Dashboard
  3. Check the Data Content of message
  4. Click edit button

Cause

The fields in Data Content are not set with changeable in the backend.

Resolution

Use Fiori app Message Monitoring (Emergency Correction) to edit the field directly.

OR

Make the field as a changeable field by define changeable field by BAdI.

OR

Contact with function team to check if the field can be set as changeable in the backend.
