Symptom

  • Scheduled reports in SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence (BI) platform do not overwrite files with the same name.
  • Instead of replacing the existing file, multiple versions of the file with the same name are created.
  • This behavior occurs regardless of file type (CSV, PDF) or whether the file extension is included.
