3648793 - DP Agent not available during the creation of a Datasphere connection

Symptom

DP Agent dropdown is empty when configuring a connection in Datasphere .

Environment

SAP Datasphere

Cause

DP agent configuration is incomplete, there are no adapters registered (all adapters were greyed out)

Resolution

To select the  DP Agent in the  connection, a suitable Adapter is required.

  1. In the side navigation area, click (System)-->(Configuration)  -->Data Integration.
  2. In the On-Premise Agents section, click the Adapters button to display the agents with their adapter information.
  3. Click --> (menu) and then --> Edit.
  4. In the Agent Settings dialog, under Agent Adapters select the adapters.

Note:It is not required to save to update the agent settings.
