Symptom

In transaction PPOME, a position appears duplicated even though no changes have been made directly to the position object. This duplication typically occurs after changes in position assignments are replicated from Employee Central (EC) to SAP HCM. The duplicate entries can cause confusion and operational issues, especially when positions are used in downstream processes such as finance workflows.
