3648980 - Error while connecting to Snowflake using the CamelJDBCAdapter (Generic JDBC)

Symptom

  • A connection to Snowflake has been created using the CamelJDBCAdapter (or Generic JDBC in Datasphere).
  • Validating the connection fails with the following error(s):
    • In DP Agent logs:
      • JdbcMetadataBrowser | ExceptionUtil.newAdapterException [] - Failed to query schemas. org.apache.commons.dbcp.SQLNestedException: Cannot create JDBC driver of class 'net.snowflake.client.jdbc.SnowflakeDriver' for connect URL 'jdbc:snowflake://<hostname>?db=<db_name>&warehouse=<warehouse_name>&role=<role_name>&CLIENT_METADATA_REQUEST_USE_CONNECTION_CTX=TRUE&CLIENT_CONFIG_FILE=C:\usr\sap\dataprovagent\camel\sf_client_config.json' "
    • In Datasphere (if used):
      • "Cannot get remote source objects: Could not get tables, Code: 403, SQL State: HY000. "
