Symptom

  • Reading data from a CDS View using the ABAPAdapter fails with timeout errors.
  • Errors in framework.trc:
    • Maximum waiting time of 7,200 seconds exceeded.
    • Timeout occurred while pinging the destination <destination>. Remote system <system_details> did not reply within 60 seconds on handle.
  • Error to be seen in Datasphere's UI:
    •  Message was sent, but no reply was received.
