3649070 - Unable to approve workflow in Group Journal Entries

Symptom

  • Test user ID created for Manager (approver) and Accountant (creator), the approver is unable to approve workflows for General Journal Entries (GJE).
  • Manager ID is able to reject/rework but cannot approve the workflow.
  • Approval process works correctly with actual user IDs.
  • Error message observed: "Document type XX is not allowed for manual posting".
  • Issue persists despite providing SAP_ALL access to the Manager ID.
