During the onboarding process, the compliance form is fully visible and populated with valid data entered by the onboardee. However, once the candidate's status transitions to "Hired", appears blank in the compliance step.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Complete the onboarding process for a candidate.
2. Verify that the data in the compliance form is visible during onboarding.
3. Transition the candidate to the "hired" status.
4. Attempt to view the compliance form data; observe that the data is missing.
5. Attempt to submit the compliance form; observe submission errors due to missing required fields.

During onboarding, candidates are assigned the OnboardingExternalUser permission role, which targets External Users. This allows them to view and interact with specific fields in the compliance form.

Once the candidate reaches the “hired” status, their permissions shift to roles based on their future position within the company. These roles typically have a target population of Employees.

However, this target population does not include external users, which leads to visibility issues for fields that were previously accessible during onboarding.

To resolve this, we recommend updating the target population of the post-hire permission role to include both Employees and Onboardees. This adjustment should restore visibility to the relevant fields.
