Symptom

  • Client deletion using transaction SCC5 fails with HANA memory-related errors.
  • SQL error "SQL code: 4" occurred while accessing table "COEP".
  • Database error text: "SQL message: cannot allocate enough memory: [9] Memory allocation failed; exception 1000002: Allocation failed; $failure_type$=STATEMENT_MEMORY_LIMIT_FROM_GLOBAL_CONFIG; $failure_flag$=; $size$=2584200848; $name$=Results; $type$=pool; $inuse_count$=475".
  • Out-of-memory dumps occur during client deletion.
  • Process fails when memory usage reaches the statement memory limit or global allocation limit.
