3649636 - Localized Biographical Information in Onboarding

Fields such as Country of Birth, Region of Birth and Birthplace are the information currently available in Onboarding 1.0 for France, Italy and other European countries and are passed via the standard Integration from Onboarding 1.0 to third party vendors. With the implementation of Onboarding these fields are no longer available for input or update in the Personal Data Collection screen for new hires. Therefore, the data cannot be passed from ONB to EC even though in EC, the fields have been enabled in Manage Business Configuration.

As of 2H 2025, we will support this feature in Onboarding. The following Onboarding pages will be covered under this enhancement:

• New Hire Data Review
• Personal Data Collection
• Additional Data Collection via Add New Hire to Onboarding
• Access New hire Data Review Page
• Participants performing Personal Data Collection On behalf of the New Hire
• Final Review

NOTE: 

1. For this feature to work successfully, enabling Service Layer is a mandatory pre-requisite. 
2. In Rehire from Old Employment scenarios, the service layer cannot be activated. Therefore, localized biological information cannot be supported in such cases.
