3650254 - New members added to the story filter is not reflected in previously saved bookmarks in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

New members added to the story filter is not reflected in the previously saved bookmarks in SAC.

SAP ANALYTICS CLOUD 2025.14.8 

1. Login to the SAC tenant.
2. Open the ODE story.
3. Add a story filter with few members and create a bookmark on it
4. Open the story again in edit mode.
5. Edit the story filter to contain more members and save the story.
6. Open the previously saved bookmark.

Notice that in the bookmarked page the story filter does not contain the newly added member.(member added after bookmark was saved)

This is a by design behavior in SAC.
The reason being that bookmarks save the state of a widget including the values in the dropdown.
