3650429 - CDS View is not available in SAC when using OData URL from S/4HANA

After configuring an SAC Connection to S/4HANA using Data Service URL (OData), not all views are visible to use.

• SAP Analytics Cloud
• S/4HANA on-premise

1. Create connection for S/4HANA on-premise
2. Use this connection to create a story
3. Find that not all views that exist in S/4HANA are visible

The SAP S/4HANA administrator must use the ABAP Development Tools for SAP NetWeaver to add the "@Analytics.query: true" Annotation to the required CDS Views.

If this was not done, it should resolve the issue.

If not, please use a tool like Postman to test your Data Service URL (OData connection) with same credentials and see if the view or query is visible.  If it is not, then it won't be an issue in SAC and it will need to be investigated from the S/4HANA side.
