3650667 - Error "balance in ledger 0L, 2L is not zero" when closing internal projects in sap s/4hana cloud public edition

• Internal projects can be set as Completed only and cannot be closed.
• Error message: "WBS XXXXXXX.1.1: Balance in ledger 0L, 2L is not zero".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Attempt to close an internal project in the system.
2. Observe that the system displays the error message: "WBS XXXXXXX.1.1: Balance in ledger 0L, 2L is not zero".

The project costs have not been completely settled.

1. Ensure that the settlement rule is maintained in the system.
2. Use app "Plan Internal Projects".
3. Click Edit button.
4. Go to Work Package tab, and click into the item.
5. Click Maintain Settlement Rule link in that page.
6. You should maintain the settlement rule receiver accordingly.
7. Settle the project with Run Settlement - Actual.
