3650725 - Inspection Point times are inconsistent in Record Results for Inspection Points (F2689) app and Display Inspection Points (F0309A) app

Symptom

For a material with an activated inspection point, when recording the inspection result and then checking the inspection point times in different apps, the times are inconsistent in Record Results for Inspection Points app and Display Inspection Points app.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Record inspection results in Record Results for Inspection Points app.
  2. Open the Display Inspection Points app to view the same inspection point.
  3. Check the inspection point times and they are inconsistent in these two apps.

Cause

This is standard system behavior. 
In Record Results for Inspection Points app, it is designed to show the time in the local user time zone.
In Display Inspection Points app, it is designed to show the time in system time zone.

Resolution

Use different apps to check the inspection point time in different time zone according to the requirement.
