3650780 - Error "Postings: no business partner was selected" when saving contract - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

When attempting to save contract in App 'Contract Management', error "Postings: no business partner was selected" is shown and contract cannot be saved.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The business partner assignment was changed on the contract, but the assignment was not updated in the 'Posting Rule' section.

1. Open the 'Posting Rule' assigned to the contract in the 'Posting Parameter' section.
2. Ensure that the intended Business Partner is assigned to the 'Business partner' field (drop-down can be used to select correct Business partner)
3. Apply changes and save contract.
