SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Navigate to the 'Maintain Item Categories' configuration in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
2. Attempt to assign special stock settings for project stock ('Q' stock).
3. Observe that there is no option available to configure special stock settings.

• In Public Cloud sales from project stock (Q) are only supported within the scope of Best Practice Scope Item 6GD – Engineer-to-Order with Project Stock.
• If this scope item is not active, the system does not recognize Q stock as available for delivery during standard sales order processing.

To enable delivery from Q stock in a sales order:

1. Activate Scope Item 6GD – This enables project stock integration with sales processes.
2. Set the material’s strategy group to E2 in the MRP3 view (Engineer-to-Order).
3. Ensure the WBS element is assigned to the sales order item (via account assignment).
4. Create the sales order after the material master is updated, so the correct requirement class is used.
