Symptom

- The "Date_diff" function is not working in the import job transformations of an acquired SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) model.
- Uncaught TypeError: e.includes is not a function error can be confirmed in the HAR trace.

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud 2025.14.11 (Client)
  • SAP Analytics Cloud 2025.14.9 (Server)

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Logon to SAC.
  2. Go to model data management->job->Import Settings.
  3. Open Custom expression editor and enter below formula:
    [Duaration]=dateDiff([A], [B],"Day")
  4. The screen got hang hand the below error happens in the har trace:
