Symptom
Button to "Add New Learning Activity" is not displayed on the Latest Experience of Performance Management Forms, while it is visible in the legacy form.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management
Reproducing the Issue
- On a Performance Form, with the legacy form experience enabled and included a goal section using a Development Goal plan, with proper configuration the user is able to access the "+Add New Learning Activity"
- Enable the Latest Experience of Performance Management forms under Performance Management Feature Settings
- Access the same form
- The Linked Learning section or ability to add learning items is not available
Cause
This is a known issue.
Resolution
Current workaround is to ensure the "tab-permission" does not restrict user access to "goal details".
- For example (permissions may differ depending on requirement or configuration):
<tab-permission type="none">
<role-name>*</role-name>
<tab refid="goal-details"/>
<route-step stepid="*"/>
</tab-permission>
