3652037 - To manage intermediate difference quantities after exception messages in RF Device

Symptom

After the RF device modifies the quantity through the exception message, how to find corresponding certificate for the intermediate difference quantity

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Pubic Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Using the Test RF Environment, select a warehouse order.
  2. Fill in the exception message and select "2.Diff. as Charges for Warehouse".
  3. Fill in the amount different from the target quantity, enter and save.
  4. Continue to complete the warehouse order.
  5. Attempt to locate business and financial documents for the variance quantity.

Cause

  • When users confirm the warehouse order or warehouse task with an exception code to change the quantities, a difference entry is created and posted to the Difference Analyzer. This entry must be manually posted to generate a material document that updates the IM stock.

Resolution

  1. Navigate to the "Analyze Differences" app in SAP EWM.
  2. Locate the difference entry created during the RF transaction.
  3. Post the difference entry in the Difference Analyzer.
  4. Once posted, a material document will be generated to reflect the changes in the IM stock.
