3652401 - Position is visible in report but not in Manage Position

Position is visible while creating report. However, is not searchable anywhere in the system.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central: Position Management

1. Create a vacant position report.
2. Search for the positions in the system.
3. Some positions are not searchable anywhere in the system even though it is shown in report.

The record status for the position object is PH. PH is the record’s history before workflow got approved.

• Check the record status of position object. 
• This can be done from data inspector tool-> Select Entity 'Table_GENERIC_OBJECT_T' ->Add Filter for External Code
• Check the value in record status column
• If Record status is PH then that means it is the record’s history before workflow got approved. This can happen if position creation workflow is cancelled. So, position is not created in the system.
• To avoid these records to be shown in the report, you can filter by "N - normal record". Please refer to the KBA 2261877 - Duplicate Records and Canceled Positions shown in Position / Job family table - Advanced Reporting and Story.
