Symptom

Unable to create or manage RFQs Error message occurs "RFQ types are not maintained. Please contact your system administrator."

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to the "Manage RFQ" app.
  2. Click on the "Create" button.
  3. Observe the error message: "RFQ types are not maintained. Please contact your system administrator."
  4. Checked in business catalog app SAP_MM_BC_RFQ_PROCESS_PC business catalog is not available  

Cause

Standard system behavior.

Resolution

 Activation of  the scope item "1XF Request for Price is required  , raise an incident on the component "XX-S4C-OPR-SRV" to request activation.
