3652622 - Links not editable in Manage Organizational Updates cards in SAP SuccessFactors

Symptom

  • Links have disappeared in Manage Organizational Updates cards on the Manage Home Page.
  • The issue occurs across multiple languages and cards.
  • Links are visible to end users but are missing when editing the cards in the Manage Home Page.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Manage Home Page > Organizational Updates.
  2. Select a card
  3. Choose one of the affected languages
  4. Click on the hyperlink > three dots > Insert/edit link.
  5. Observe that the link is not displayed in the editor.

Cause

The issue is caused by a framework-level change in the Rich Text Editor component.

Resolution

This issue will be fully addressed in future. In the meantime, apply one of the following workarounds:

Option 1

  1. Apply bold or underline styling back and forth on the text containing the hyperlink.
  2. After this action, the link becomes editable.

Option 2

  1. Right-click the hyperlink and select "Copy Link."
  2. Update the link in the card and save.
