3652646 - "You're not authorized to install value accelerators in this workspace. Contact workspace admin" when attempting to download from Value Accelerator Library

Symptom

When attempting to download or install a value accelerator from the Value Accelerator Library, the following error appears:

"You're not authorized to install value accelerators in this workspace. Contact workspace admin"

Resolution

This issue occurs if the user does not have sufficient access rights in the workspace. To enable installation of value accelerators, adjust the Repository access rights to Editor:

  1. Navigate to Hub.

  2. Go to Settings > Access Rights > Access Management.

  3. Select Repository.

  4. Under User Group, locate the affected group.

  5. Change Access Rights to Editor.

After updating these settings, the user should be able to install value accelerators from the library.

Note: Only a workspace admin can modify access rights. If you are not an admin, please contact your workspace administrator to request this change.
