3652834 - Error AC671 - Currency type is not defined in Financial Accounting during asset configuration to specify the use of parallel currencies

Symptom

Setting up asset accounting configuration "Specify the use of parallel currencies" in transaction ORFA is not possible due to several errors like

  • Error message AC671: "Area XX: currency type YY is not defined in Financial Accounting."
  • Warning message: FINS_ACDOC_CUST242: "Crcy type '&1' is set as integrated in FI (ledger &2/company code &3)."
