3653096 - Unexpected Error for Consignment Valuation: "Cannot find acct determ group for material XYZ, company ABC, bus res 123"

When posting a goods issue for a consignment fill-up sales order, the system does not generate a journal entry. Instead, the following error messages appear:

• Error message: "Cannot find acct determ group for material &, company &, bus res &"
• Error message: "Cannot find acct determ group for material XYZ, company ABC, bus res 123"

Journal entry is not posted for consignment valuation (Goods and Activity Confirmation) due to missing Account Determination Group.

(XYZ represents the material ID)

(ABC represents the company ID)

(123 represents the Business Residence ID)

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Third-Party Logistics work center.
2. Navigate to Outbound Deliveries subview.
3. Select the option "All Outbound Deliveries by Selection".
4. Search for Delivered ID: DEF (DEF represents the Delivered ID) and open it.
5. Click "View All".
6. Navigate to the Document Flow tab.
7. Verify the Business Transaction related to the unposted Good and Activity Confirmation AAA (AAA represents the Good and Activity Confirmation ID).

Check the Unposted Source Document:

1. Go to General Ledger work center.
2. Go to Source Document view. 
3. Search for unposted source document: AAA (Goods and Activity Confirmation). 
4. There is the following error message:

"Cannot find acct determ group for material &, company &, bus res &"

Try to post the unposted source document AAAA, we can see the following error message:

"Cannot find acct determ group for material XYZ, company ABC, bus res 123"

The issue happens because of a missing Account Determination Group at Valuation Level: Business Residence - Consignee.

To resolve this issue, please follow the steps below:

1. Access the Inventory Valuation work center.
2. Navigate to the Materials subview.
3. Select "All Materials".
4. Search for Material: XYZ and open it.
5. Click "View All" and navigate to the Valuation tab.
6. Select the material and business residence 123 and company ABC.
7. Click on the "Maintain Consignment Valuation" button.
8. Maintain the missing Account Determination Group for Consignee.
