3653130 - Participant ID Type unavailable in Peppol Exchange app - SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud

During participant configuration, searching by a specific ID does not return the expected result and/or the related ID is missing

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Access Peppol Exchange app
2. Go to Configure Participants tab
3. in 'Party ID Types' field, search by ID
4. ID not found 

The registration of PEPPOL participant is a self-service action.

Registering a Peppol Participant

To register your company as a Peppol participant and enable electronic document exchange or validation via e-mail, please follow these steps in the SAP BTP Cockpit:

1. Access Your SAP BTP Subaccount

• Log in to the subaccount where SAP Document and Reporting Compliance, cloud edition is subscribed.

2. Navigate to the Application

• Go to Instances and Subscriptions. Under the relevant row for the application, click on Actions → Go to Application.

3. Open 'Configure Participants'

• In the Peppol Exchange app, choose the Configure Participants tile and click on New Participant.

4. Fill in Participant Details

• Business System: Select Other (unless using SAP Business Network)
• Party ID Type: Choose the identifier type (e.g., VAT, GLN)
• Party ID for My Company: Enter your official company identifier
• Destination: Select the destination mapped to your backend system (S/4HANA, ERP, etc.)

5. Save and Activate

• Once the details are entered, click Save, then Activate. Your participant will then be available for use in the Peppol network or e-mail validation flows.

Note: If your system uses multiple destinations, repeat the registration process for each destination.
