3653264 - Error encountered during configuration of Secure Login Server communication with Cloud Connector

Symptom

  • A Certificate Authority (CA) must be configured to issue the certificate for a Cloud Connector (see this link) 
  • For this purpose a Secure Login Server (from the SAP Single Sign On 3.0 application) can be used
  • Configuring a CA hosted by a Secure Login Sever gives the error 

    Error /secureLoginAppServerGroup/profiles during communication with Secure Login Server
    com.sap.scc.servlets.RequestFailureExecution$RuntimeFailure: Error /secureLoginAppServerGroup/profiles during communication with Secure Login Server 

  • In the configuration API version 3 has been chosen
