3653342 - Unexpected exchange rate in document header for postings from TPM44 and TPM1

Symptom

  • The field Exchange rate (BKPF-KURSF) in the document header is using the market exchange rate instead of the exchange rate used in transaction TPM44.
  • The same behavior is observed when using transaction TPM1.
  • The system correctly uses the exchange rate for calculations but stores a different rate in the document header.
