3653436 - Could not open repository parameter file: $LINK_DIR/conf/repository_name.txt - SAP Data Services 4.x

Symptom

  • Execution commands from Data Services Management Console are not getting triggered by AL_RWJobLauncher.
  • Error message observed in AL_RWJobLauncher: "Could not open repository parameter file: $LINK_DIR/conf/repository_name.txt. Error is No such file or directory(2).".
  • In Data Services Management Console, when exporting with password file option, the error is "while trying to invoke the method java.lang.String.getBytes(java.lang.String) of an object loaded from local variable 's'".
