We will use Sales Orders as an example.

  1. Go to the Sales Orders work center.
  2. Select the Sales Orders view.
  3. Open Sales Order XYZ (XYZ represents the Sales Order ID).
  4. Navigate to the Pricing and Invoicing tab and the Pricing sub tab.
  5. In the Total Pricing the Price Component for Tax is displayed twice.

Cause

The Tax Price Component is displayed multiple times if:

  1. The Tax Code of the Items is different
  2. The Tax Rate Type of the Tax Type is different for the items

You can check this as follows:

Example 1:

  1. Go to the Sales Orders work center.
  2. Select the Sales Orders view.
  3. Open Sales Order XYZ (XYZ represents the Sales Order ID).
  4. Select Line Item XX (XX represents the Line Item number).
  5. The Tax Code is 501
  6. Select Line Item YY (YY represents the Line Item number).
  7. The Tax Code is 502
  8. Navigate to the Pricing and Invoicing tab and the Pricing sub tab
  9. Therefore the Price Component for the Tax will be displayed twice in the Total Pricing tab to reflect the Tax for each Tax Code

Example 2 (Tax Country India):

  1. Go to the Sales Orders work center.
  2. Select the Sales Orders view.
  3. Open Sales Order XYZ (XYZ represents the Sales Order ID).
  4. Select Line Item XX (XX represents the Line Item number).
  5. The Tax Code is 560
  6. Tax Type Interstate GST (%) with Tax Rate Type Standard
  7. Select Line Item YY (YY represents the Line Item number).
  8. The Tax Code is 560
  9. the Tax Type Interstate GST (%) with Tax Rate Type IGST 18%
  10. Navigate to the Pricing and Invoicing tab and the Pricing sub tab
  11. Therefore the Price Component for the Tax Type Interstate GST (%) will be displayed twice in the Total Pricing tab to reflect the Tax Rate Type IGST 18% and the Tax Rate Type Standard.
