Symptom

  • Random session timeouts occur for users actively working in SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.3.
  • Error messages related to session timeout are reported :

"The following database error occurred: Connection is closed. For information about this error, please refer to SAP Knowledge Base Article 2054721 on the SAP Support Portal. (IES 10901)"

"Unable to reconnect to the CMS xxxx:6400. The session has been logged off or has expired. (FWM 01002)"
