Resolution
Scenario 1: Newly setting the batch management flag at Product level ( field IsBatchManagementRequired in the CDS view I_PRODUCT )
No matter if the plant has stock/dependencies or not, the batch management indicator at Product level can be set.
However, the Product level batch management flag (field IsBatchManagementRequired in the CDS view I_PRODUCT ) should only be copied to plant level
(field IsBatchManagementRequired in CDS view I_ProductPlant ) for plants without stock.
The indicator copy process with plant can be controlled in configuration activity Specify Batch Management Default by Plant 101905.
Scenario 2 : Removing the batch management flag at Product level ( field IsBatchManagementRequired in CDS view I_PRODUCT )
If there is even one plant that has stock and where the batch management flag on plant level (IsBatchManagementRequired in CDS view I_ProductPlant )
is set, the material level batch management flag cannot be removed.
If one plant that has stock but the batch management flag on plant level (IsBatchManagementRequired in CDS view I_ProductPlant ) is not set, the system
should not check the stock on this plant when removing the batch management flag on material level.
