3653718 - Modifying local table's column data type on Datasphere

While attempting to modify local table column data type in datasphere you see that the option is grayed out.

SAP Datasphere

View local table in data builder and observe that fields have locked/grayed out data types.

Your local table should be locked due to being dependent to with other datasphere objects.

Or due to using a DAC (Data Access Control).
