Symptom

The reportable field on compensation template is not available in ad hoc reporting

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Compensation
  • SAP SuccessFactors Variable Pay

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create an ad hoc report
  2. Go to column HR Business Partner (Reportable field) is not visible

Cause

Custom fields with column type set to UserName are not supported across all types of templates.

Resolution

Use a different column type other than username. Send an enhancement request to include the said unsupported column type.
