3654319 - Fields are not displaying side by side in Reimagined Candidate Experience - Recruiting Management

When Reimagined Candidate Experience is enabled, fields are displaying in single stack format causing the form/page to be longer than expected.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Login to external Career Site
2. Apply to a job posting
3. Complete each application steps
4. Notice that fields are not displaying side by side in Profile Information and/or Job-Specific Information step

Expected side-by-side view:

Engineering Team confirmed that this behavior is expected according to current design.

When instruction field(s) is configured in Job Application Template, all fields in specific wizard sections align into stack format.

If there's no instruction field present in the template, fields will display side by side.

Improvements to allow side-by-side field alignment when using instruction field is planned for 1H 2026 Release roadmap. See this page for Product Release & Road Map Information.
