3654359 - Overlapping Extra Time Type Records Do Not Trigger Validation in Time Sheet

Two different Extra Time Types are recorded for the same time period in the time sheet. No error message, warning, or validation is triggered, allowing the overlapping extra time records to be saved successfully.

• SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking

Extra Time Types are designed to allow overlaps with other time types, such as attendance records. Therefore, overlapping records do not trigger validation checks by default.

To prevent different Extra Time Types from overlapping, please implement Time Valuations to detect overlapping records and generate an alert or validation message based on customer business requirements.

Please note that the current standard design does NOT provide validation checks for overlapping records of the same Extra Time Type.
