3654386 - After billing creation, CPI initial GET fails with “document not found” error

Symptom

After a billing document is created and saved in S/4HANA, an event is triggered to send an outgoing message to SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). Subsequently, CPI issues a Get Call to S/4HANA to read the billing document that has just been created. However, in certain instances, this Get Call fails in CPI with an error indicating that the document does not exist. Despite this failure, CPI automatically retries the Get Call, which typically succeeds on the second or third attempt within a few seconds.
