Symptom

Error message AIST009 - 'Profit center is not unique' displayed when creating fixed asset master data in manage fixed assets app.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Attempt to create fixed asset master data in manage fixed assets app.
  2. Assign account assignment objects with differing profit centers.
  3. Observe the error message "Profit center is not unique" with error code AIST009.

Cause

Differing cost assignment objects between WBS and AUC are not allowed. Both WBS and AUC must have consistent cost assignment objects, such as cost center and profit center.

Resolution

Ensure that the cost center and profit center of WBS elements are consistent with those of the fixed asset master data.
