3654666 - Inspection Stock not automatically adjusted after Quality Decision in Purchase Process

Symptom

Stock remains in inspection after the quality decision is made during the purchase process.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to the Physical Inventory work center
  2. Access the Stock Overview view
  3. Search for the relevant Product ID
  4. Select "Go"
  5. Observe that the inspection stock remains checked in the stock overview

Cause

As stated in the Help Document "Inspection Process": Follow-up actions, such as stock adjustments, do not happen automatically and must be executed manually after inspection.

Resolution

Perform the stock adjustment manually in the "Change of Stock" functionality. Refer to the Help Document "Inspection Process" for detailed guidance on follow-up actions.
