3654692 - Error "invalid input file. could not be parsed" during import via language adaptation tool

• Error occurs when trying to perform import via the Language Adaptation Tool (LAT).
• Error message: "Invalid Input File. Could not be parsed."
• Additional error can be observed in Import and Export Data under Application Tasks: "Language Adaptation, Field Labels, Code Lists is missing from the file. Please reupload the file with sufficient data."

SAP Sales and Service Cloud Version 2

1. Navigate to Settings → All Settings.
2. Open Language Adaptation.
3. Select the relevant entity and choose the relevant source and target language.
4. Click the Export option to export the file.
5. Make the required changes in the exported file.
6. Perform the Import process.
7. Observe the error: "Invalid Input File. Could not be parsed."

During the import process, the "Complete Entity" box was checked, but the file did not contain sufficient data for all required fields such as Field Labels or Code Lists.

1. Ensure the "Complete Entity" box is unchecked and if you are working only with Field Labels.
2. Check the "Field Labels" box during the import process.
3. Browse and select the zipped file containing the updated translations.
4. Ensure that the translations are updated in the column "New Target Language Text" in the file.
5. Proceed with the import. The process should complete successfully without errors.

NOTE : While zipping the file, select all files and please zip it in the same location where the files are located.
