3654829 - Error in Compa Ratio field: The Currency Exchange Rate MDF object between XXX and YYY has not been set up - SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

• Error in the Compa Ratio field: "The Currency Exchange Rate MDF object between XXX and YYY has not been set up. Please contact your administrator."
• Pay components and Pay Components Group are configured in a single currency; no conversion should be needed.
• Discrepancy observed between UI compensation information and history compensation information.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Open the employee profile for the impacted user.
2. Navigate to the compensation information portlet.
3. Observe the error message in the compa ratio field and notice that there is only one currency for pay components.

• The issue occurs due to a change in the location object associated with the user, where the effective date of the location object was updated but no corresponding record was added in job information and compensation information for the user.
• This led to the system selecting the incorrect pay range associated with the user and the geo zone.

1. Adjust the information in the Location object, ensuring that the required fields will be available in the same date as the user's record. 
   1. For example: if there is a geo zone change in the location and the geo zone is associated with the pay range, ensure that the required geo zone will be matching the dates of the employee's records.
2. Update the effective date of the pay range object to align with the location object, using the same default date (e.g., 01/01/1900).
3. Verify the compensation information portlet to ensure the compa ratio is calculated correctly and no errors appear in the history portlet.
4. If discrepancies persist, refresh the historical record by editing job information history without making actual changes or by importing the sequence number without modifications.
