3654836 - While changing a field in an inactive profile that has an onboarding process not concluded is not visible in the UI

Symptom

  • Changes made to the Old Employment record, in the inactive profile, for a Rehire With Old Employment via Onboarding appears to save successfully but are not visible in the UI
  • Changes made to the Old Employment record, in the inactive profile, for Rehire With New Employment via Onboarding are saved successfully and appears in the UI

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Proxy as the user in the system.
  2. Navigate to the inactive old employment profile of the user 
  3. Use the Action button to select 'Change Job and Compensation'
  4. Select 'Change Job Information'
  5. Choose an effective date prior to the termination date
  6. Update any field
  7. Save
  8. A message pops up that was Successfully Saved
  9. Verify the profile UI for the changes and the changes will not be visible

Cause

This is a Known Issue.

Resolution

Product Engineering is investigating a solution.

The fix to this is planned to be delivered in 1H2026 via OBX-40877.
