Symptom
- The freeze occurs when anything actively running is interrupted, be it as simple as “select * into #tmp from mylargetable”.
- The issue does not occur when nothing is running - An idle dbisql can be interrupted.
- When a signal such as `ctrl-c` is sent to SAP IQ, the system freezes instead of stopping.
- The system can only be stopped using `SIGKILL`.
- The issue prevents users from utilizing database tools effectively.
