3654944 - Production Order Released Without Supply Task Creation

Production order ABC is released, but no supply task created. In corresponding released execution model (REM), there is supply operation.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to work center "Production Control" and access view "Production Orders".
2. Search for the production order ABC and select "Edit".
3. Select the "Order Structure" tab and observe that there are make tasks but no supply task.
4. Select the "General" tab and open the Released Execution Model. Confirm that there is a supply operation in this REM.

In production order ABC, under tab General, Released Execution Model Explosion Date is DD.MM.YYYY.

Open the BoM in corresponding REM, under tab Input Products, select DD.MM.YYYY for Reference Date, select By Reference Date for Filter Options, no input product in the result. This means there is no input product valid in date DD.MM.YYYY. Because of this, no supply task is created for production order ABC, since nothing needs to be supplied to production.

Ensure there is at least one valid input product in Released Execution Model Explosion Date of the production order.
