3655051 - Screen not refreshed after back navigation via SBWP workflow - SAP GUI for HTML

Symptom

  • Clicking the back button on a specific screen of SBWP does not navigate back to the previous screen as expected.
  • The issue only happens on WebGUI (SAP GUI for HTML), it doesn't happen on SAP GUI for Windows.
  • The title of the screen changes from the corresponding application, e.g., "Display Parked Document: Overview" back to "Decision Step in Workflow," but the rest of the screen remains unchanged.
  • Open F12 developer tool, it might display error in console tab:
    lightspeed.js:1  *** ITS ***  : Step 1 failed: -102 [control not found] (LS:Error) 
  • Any further action (tab click, menu) might trigger a "Backend error occurred":
    Received "control not found" on batch step #1:
