Symptom

After the 2508 release, the system generates the following information messages during journal uploads in app Import Group Journal entries:

  • "Value of field investee unit set to initial value."
  • "Value of field Consolidation of Investment Activity set to initial value."

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Import a journal file using the "Import Group Journal Entries" app.
  2. Observe the messages:
  • "Value of field Investee Unit set to initial value."
  • "Value of field Consolidation of Investments Activity set to initial value."

Resolution

The message is generated by the substitution rule /0SAP/GR_COI_5, which was evaluated as unnecessary. Please deactivate this rule to resolve your issue.
