3655246 - System identifier purge shows "The import file contains invalid ID's" when uploading Purge file with users.

After uploading the purge file to hard purge users with the System Identifier purge, an error shows as "The import file contains invalid ID's".

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Core

1.    Go to Data Retention Management > System Identifier Purge.
2.    Select "Purge Inactive Users in CSV file"
3.    After uploading the CSV file with users to be purged - Its showing error "The import file contains invalid ID's".

The purge file being used contains either an incorrect User ID (if User ID column is being used) or Assignment ID (if Assignment ID is being used).

Customers can use User ID or Assignment ID to identify a user, when doing the purge, via the CSV file being uploaded. Usually, these two fields are the same value - but if these two values are not the same, customers should use the correct Assignment ID OR User ID associated with the user in hard purge request, otherwise this error will occur.
