3655511 - Unable to use the RESTful SDK to change the report format to formatted XLSX

Symptom

  • When scheduling Crystal Reports files with the Excel XLSX format using the SDK, the output file is generated as an XLS file instead of XLSX.
  • The Central Management Console's format properties list does not include an option matching the Excel (XLSX) format.
  • Error message encountered: "Error in File <File Name.rpt>: Invalid export DLL or export format."
  • The History screen for the reports shows the type as "Text."
  • The XLSX format generated by option 15 does not include full formatting such as merged cells, font colors, fills, and patterns.
