3655523 - Error encountered "no module named ..." during script execution in SAP CPQ

Symptom

  • Many error logs are visible in the CPQ Event Logs page such as "ImportError: No module named .....".
    But the script is in active state.
  • Also the Error Log description contains user password in it.

Reproducing the Issue

There are no exact steps to reproduce, different users face different issues during their work in different situations. Different scripts - but the same error.

Cause

Issue has been identified as a bug.

Resolution

  1. The root cause was identified as a fault in a single application-pool instance. Once traffic was rerouted away from this instance, the errors stopped.
  2. The issue with password being visible in the logs will be fixed in the SAP CPQ 2511 release.
